 The Center for Leadership in Disability and The Georgia Department of Public Health have partnered to develop the Positive Behavior Support Parent Academy. The Parent Academy will offer caregivers an individualized training program that addresses persistent challenging behavior of children 3 - 5 years old. Come unite with other parents of young children, learn helpful skills, and walk away with some awesome tools! 

The IPBS Parent Academy will include: 

 Skill-building content, hands-on activities, discussion, and peer-to-peer support.
 Topics:

o Understanding behavior
o Preventing challenging behaviors during daily routines
o Teaching your child new communication and life skills
o Creating and using visual supports

 Sessions will be held on July 12, 19, 26, August 2 and 16.
 Each session will be 2 hours from 11:00am-1:00pm.
 The group is for parents/caregivers only. Children do not need to attend.
